Introducing Chef Prasad Metrani as the new Director of Culinary, Fairmont Mumbai is happy to announce his appointment. Chef Prasad brings a wealth of experience in culinary science and kitchen management, having worked in the hospitality industry for over 18 years.
Chef Prasad has collaborated with some of the most prominent hospitality brands in India and abroad. Among his noteworthy accomplishments are founding India’s first Raffles in Udaipur and leading Conrad Bengaluru’s food and beverage division. He has received recognition over his career for his creative ideas for food and drink, outstanding menu planning, and custom service sequences.
Chef Prasad has taken on the responsibility of supervising all culinary operations at Fairmont Mumbai. His duties will encompass designing distinctive food and beverage ideas, supervising all aspects of food service, and guaranteeing the utmost levels of culinary proficiency.
Chef Prasad was excited to join Fairmont Mumbai upon his appointment, saying, “I am looking forward to starting a professional adventure with Fairmont Mumbai.” For me, eating is all about savoring real flavors and highlighting how fresh the ingredients are.
