Rahul Gautam
has been appointed as the new Director of Operations at JW Marriott Pune. Rahul has a long history in the hospitality sector and brings a plethora of knowledge and experience to his new position.
Rahul has had an incredible career in hospitality, beginning with his time as a food and beverage manager, where he made a substantial growth contribution to a number of outlets. His hard work and effectiveness earned him a promotion to Director of Food and Beverage, a position he held for four and a half years with distinction. While working at The Leela, Rahul was the driving force behind the opening of Club Cuba, a well-liked poolside lounge, and the revitalization of Dilli 32 and Mei Kun, two specialty restaurants that rose to prominence within the hotel.
Notably, Rahul oversaw one of the biggest pillarless ballrooms in North India while deftly managing the banqueting operations at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel. He was promoted to Director of Operations in 2022, where he oversaw all of the property’s essential operational divisions.

Prior to his employment at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Rahul was employed by upscale hotels in the UK and India, such as Shangri-La Delhi, Oberoi Cecil, The Taj Mahal, and The Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Rahul’s love of travel and cooking is evident when he is not working. He enjoys exploring the vibrant food and beverage scene of the city, constantly seeking out new and authentic culinary experiences.
Rahul Gautam’s leadership and experience will be greatly appreciated by JW Marriott Pune in his new position as Director of Operations.
