Himanshu Kala has been named the new Director of Rooms at the Marriott Hotel Whitefield in Bengaluru

The director of rooms at the Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, Himanshu Kala, has been appointed.

Himanshu brings his expertise to our property and has a proven track record of delivering excellent guest experiences and driving operational momentum.

As a management trainee at Mahindra Holidays in Mumbai, Himanshu began his career in hospitality. He subsequently advanced to the position of duty manager at The Zuri Hotels and St. Regis Goa Resort. During his prior employment as a Director of Rooms at the Hyatt Regency in Kolkata, West Bengal, Himanshu oversaw the Front Office, Spa & Fitness, and Travel with exceptional success. He oversaw an incredible 226% increase in revenue from spa and fitness services and set a record-breaking 94% in quality assurance audits. He was notably the first to introduce an electric vehicle fleet, which was a major turning point in sustainability initiatives.

Having held a number of positions, including Front Office Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Jaipur and Kolkata, where he consistently increased revenue performance and guest satisfaction ratings, Himanshu has a demonstrated track record of strategic planning and management. Himanshu is renowned for his ability to foster inclusive work cultures and raise employee engagement, as evidenced by his successes in lowering attrition rates and producing hitherto unseen upsell revenues.

Himanshu will use his expertise as the Director of Rooms at the Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield to enhance visitor experiences, maximize operational effectiveness, and maintain the highest caliber of service. His areas of expertise are administrative support, office management, and customer service.
