Christopher Holbrook appointed Complex General Manager at The Westin and Aloft San Francisco Airport
Christopher Holbrook has been appointed Complex General Manager of the Westin San Francisco Airport and Aloft San Francisco Airport, two Millbrae hotels that are just minutes from San Francisco International Airport. Holbrook, who has over 25 years of experience, will be in charge of day-to-day operations at the 418-room Westin San Francisco Airport Hotel and the 298-room Aloft San Francisco Airport hotel. He brings with him his deep-rooted industry relationships and award-winning experience. Holbrook will coordinate efforts with business partners for both hotels and lead the dynamic strategic direction of business initiatives in his new position as Complex General Manager. Holbrook is a prominent Millbrae resident who presently holds directorships on the boards of the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce and the SF Peninsula (CVB).
After earning a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Delaware, Christopher Holbrook, the general manager of Complex, started working for Hyatt Hotels and later the Kimpton Group, holding various managerial and operational positions. Holbrook held the positions of General Manager at the Hyatt Union Square in New York, Hotel Adagio in San Francisco, and Hotel Manager at the InterContinental Boston before being appointed Complex General Manager. Holbrook most recently spent eight years as general manager of the San Mateo Marriott San Francisco Airport, where he oversaw a 200-person team of high performers and saw a two-year renovation through to completion.
