The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa has appointed Aurélie Chiaffi as its spa director

Aurélie Chiaffi has been appointed as Spa Director, with responsibility for both The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa and The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort. The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa is a premier resort that will open in Summer 2024 in Bora Bora. With more than ten years of experience managing hotel spas across French Polynesia, Aurélie Chiaffi brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her new role. She will create a menu of treatments inspired by customary Polynesian wellness methods for the resort’s soon-to-open Heavenly Spa Bora Bora.

After eight years as the Spa Director at The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, Aurélie Chiaffi is joining the Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa. Aurélie Chiaffi was the assistant spa manager and beauty therapist at Varua Te Ora Polynesian Spa at The Brando in Tahiti before coming to work at The St. Regis. She also worked as the Spa Supervisor at The St. Regis Bora Bora, where she gained extensive knowledge of local natural and organic products as well as traditional wellness practices.

The Heavenly Spa, overseen by Aurélie Chiaffi, will offer holistic, Asian-inspired treatments that harmonize mind and body wellness in addition to local Polynesian wellness customs and the surrounding environment. The bulk of the spa’s products will be made with natural, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. Aurélie Chiaffi has selected Phytoceane, a brand rooted in the benefits of natural resources, as the spa’s primary facial care partner. The brand is a perfect fit for the spa’s philosophy because it provides pure, effective ingredients for well-being treatments that combine expert skincare, sensory delights, and a complete sense of escape.

Aurélie Chiaffi’s interest in wellness was sparked by her extensive travels, especially her backpacking adventures through Asia, where she encountered locals who taught her the value of massages, meditation, and overall physical and mental health. Aurélie Chiaffi likes to cook and experiment with different cuisines when she is not at work. She believes that eating healthily is important for both physical and mental recovery.
