The Westin Bahrain City and Le Meridien Centre Bahrain welcome Chef Mohammad Ali as a Complex Executive Chef.

Chef Mohammad, who has worked in the culinary arts for more than 20 years, brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to his new position.
Chef Mohammad worked as an executive chef at a number of well-known establishments before joining The Westin and Le Meridien, including the W Maldives, Dukes at the Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Abu Dhabi and Oman. In his most recent position at W Maldives, he was in charge of six F&B establishments and 78 luxury villas, including steakhouses, sushi bars, fine dining fish restaurants, and pool and private beach dining options.

In his role as Complex Executive Chef at The Westin City and Le Meridien Centre Bahrain, Chef Mohammad will supervise all food preparation areas, including banquets, room service, outside catering, and multiple dining outlets, in addition to leading the culinary team of sixty chefs. Developing menus, forecasting, budgeting, and making sure all food and beverage standards and laws are followed are all part of his duties.

Chef Mohammad has won multiple awards during his stellar career, including gold and silver medals in international culinary competitions and the Best Chef of the Year title at the Hospitality Excellence Awards in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, he belongs to esteemed culinary organizations like the Jordanian Chefs Association, the Emirates Culinary Guild, and the World Association of Chefs Societies.
