How to make Rice Kheer Pudding

1/2cupcondensed milk



2 tablespoons of mixed dry fruits

1/4teaspoongreen cardamom

water as required

How to make Rice Kheer Pudding

Step 1

Wash the rice and soak it in water for about 30 minutes. Drain the water.

Step 2

In a heavy-bottomed pan, add ghee and the drained rice and sauté for a few minutes until it turns slightly transparent.

Step 3

Pour the hot milk and add saffron; bring it to a boil, then keep simmering until the rice is cooked and the mixture thickens.

Step 4

Add sugar, cardamom powder, and condensed milk, mix well, and let it simmer until the kheer reaches the required consistency.

Step 5

Remove the kheer from the heat, add the nuts and let it set in desired shape, Serve it with your choice of sauce and garnishes.
