POCSO Investigation Launched After Student Reports Alleged Misconduct by Teacher in Kandivali
Allegedly, a Mumbai school teacher mistreated an 11-year-old girl sexually in Kandivali. On Wednesday, the Class 7 pupil reported it to the school officials.
According to the police complaint, she said her principal, the instructor, had called her after class and touched her improperly. The incident took place in July.
The main character then told her parents, who went to the police to register the complaint.
According to the girl’s testimony, the police have opened a thorough POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act investigation into the instructor.
To record his comment, the instructor has been called. Additionally looking for proof in the CCTV tape are the cops.
The tragedy coincides with a great public outcry about the protection of women and children, spurred on by the rape and murder of a doctor on duty at a government hospital in Kolkata.
Women all acrossthe country are calling for a safer environment for them in the streets, offices, and educational institutions.
The most recent crime statistics released by the National Crime Records Bureau show that 63,414 POCSO instances were reported in 2022.
