The Ministry of Exterior Affairs on Friday reacted to the remarks by Chief of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on the cognitive skills of outgoing US President Joe Biden.

Gandhi, whereas addressing a ballot rally in Maharashtra on November 16, had mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be struggling “reminiscence loss” just like the “former President” of the US, apparently referring to Biden, the outgoing president of the USA of America.

Throughout a press briefing, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal mentioned that stories of such remarks are “unlucky” and that they don’t seem to be consistent with heat and pleasant ties with the USA.

“India shares a multifaceted partnership with the USA, and this partnership has been constructed over years of perseverance, togetherness, mutual respect and dedication by either side. Medical practitioners’ letter
