Maldives Inflight Catering has introduced a special training programme for management employees from Hulhule Island Hotel (HIH) and Madifushi Private Island.

The initiative aims to strengthen workplace relationships among employees of the two entities and promote a sustainable and employee-friendly environment. A total of 26 management-level employees are participating in the programme. The first session has already taken place, with the second session scheduled for next week.

The training program, organised by Maldives Inflight Catering—a joint venture between Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) and SATS Pvt Ltd—was inaugurated by Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, Managing Director of MACL and Maldives Inflight Catering.

Speaking at the launch, Sharif emphasised the significance of fostering a positive work environment and improving collaboration among employees.

“The key objective of this programme is to strengthen relationships among employees and address workplace challenges,” Shareef stated.

Corporate HR Manager Fatimath Lausha highlighted the importance of imparting these skills to senior employees, saying, “Training management staff on such skills can positively impact the entire workforce. These are essential lessons for leaders to make informed decisions.”

The first session of the programme, titled Mindful Leaders, was held at Hulhule Island Hotel. It focused on strategies to adapt to administrative changes and enhance workplace productivity. The training aims to equip employees with problem-solving skills to effectively address workplace challenges.
