Thompson Zihuatanejo, a beautiful beach resort by Hyatt located on Mexico’s La Playa Ropa, has announced Larry Tsoumas as their new Director of Sales & Marketing. With over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Tsoumas returns to Hyatt to lead the hotel’s marketing, sales, revenue management, events, and communications.
Tsoumas has a rich history of success in brand innovation and sales leadership. He has previously held director-level positions in top hotels and hospitality groups, including Kerzner International, One & Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, The Peninsula Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, where he played a key role in boosting the hotel’s revenue and reputation.
Known for his ability to drive action and increase productivity, Tsoumas has a track record of delivering effective solutions and inspiring engagement. His efforts have consistently led to revenue growth, improved branding, and overall hotel profitability.
