ITC Hotels opens Welcomhotel Belagavi, its 25th Welcomhotel property in India
ITC Hotels has announced the launch of its 25th location under the Welcomhotel brand, marking a key milestone on its growth trajectory. The historic opening of Welcomhotel Belagavi, Karnataka, demonstrates ITC Hotels’ strong asset-right expansion strategy and the brand’s capacity to respond to changing market demands.
The Welcomhotel brand has emerged as a key development engine for ITC Hotels. Over the past five years (FY 2019-20 to FY 2023-24), the brand has opened seven managed hotels and three owned assets, totaling 916 keys. In the past fiscal year (FY 2023-24), the brand inked four new management arrangements totaling 406 keys. These properties are planned to launch within the next 4-5 years.
