The Board of Management for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to X and confirmed that the sport will start on Sunday at 9:10 am IST. The 2-day warmup match between Prime Ministers XI and India will now be 50 overs per facet.

“Replace: PM’s XI v India – Manuka Oval Play has been deserted for Day 1 and can resume tomorrow (Sunday) at 9:10 am IST. Coin toss can be at 8:40 am IST. Groups have agreed to play 50 overs per facet,” BCCI wrote on X.


The 2-day day-night warm-up match would have helped the 2 groups to organize for the upcoming video games of the distinguished Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
