Heidi Nielsen has joined Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) as vice president of business development.
Having worked in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years, Nielsen most recently held the position of vice president of investments and asset management at Meyer Jabara Hotels, where she oversaw all possible transactions, including acquisitions, new construction, and third-party management. She had served as HVS Consulting and Valuation’s managing director.
She worked in markets all around the United States during her time there, finishing over 1,500 assignments. In addition to serving on the executive board of the College of Charleston’s HTMT program and participating in the Goldie Initiative mentorship program, Nielsen is a frequent panelist at industry events. The College of Charleston awarded her a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
