West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stated tourism actions in coastal cities have been stopped and fishermen who enterprise into the Bay of Bengal had been instructed to return.

The State-run colleges in 9 south Bengal districts, together with Kolkata, will stay closed from October 23 to 26 in view of Cyclone Dana, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee introduced on Tuesday, saying the federal government has stocked reduction supplies and ready cyclone shelters within the coastal areas.

“Principal secretaries from varied departments have been put in control of North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, Bankura, East Midnapore, West Midnapore and Jhargram districts. They’ll monitor the state of affairs. Ministers from these districts is not going to go away the station until the cyclone is over,” Banerjee stated at a press convention on the state secretariat.

The centres below the Built-in Youngster Improvement Companies (ICDS) may also stay closed as a precautionary measure, she stated.
