Palak Shah has been named as the new Vice President of Sales by Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts.
Palak brings with him a quarter of a century of unmatched hospitality experience, particularly in Southwest Asia and India. Palak will spearhead Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts’ strategic sales initiatives in his new position. He will especially concentrate on quickening the company’s expansion in India and important source markets. In these markets, he will also be in charge of the Global Sales Office’s initiatives and operations.
Palak Shah is a well-known and accomplished sales and marketing specialist. He was previously the Regional Director of Sales for Southwest Asia at the Intercontinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Global Sales Office in Mumbai. In 2023, he was recognized as the GSO Person of the Year, and in 2013, he was given the Salesperson of the Year award at the AMEA award. He achieved unprecedented milestones, exceeding revenue targets and enhancing IHG’s standing in the very competitive Indian market thanks to his leadership, astute market insights, and execution of sales strategies that broke traditional boundaries.
