Choice Hotels International has announced the appointment of David Beers as the new Chief Executive Officer for Choice Hotels EMEA. With nearly 400 hotels across 17 countries and spanning four distinct brands, including Ascend Hotel Collection, Clarion, Comfort, and Quality, Choice Hotels EMEA represents a significant segment of the company’s global operations.
David Beers brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having dedicated 25 years to Choice Hotels International. His career trajectory within the company began in Canada and has been marked by leadership roles encompassing sales, marketing, and operations. Most recently, as Head of International Operations, David spearheaded strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies and reinforcing the franchisee value proposition.
The appointment of David Beers as CEO follows the departure of Jonathan Mills earlier this year. In his new capacity, David Beers will focus on driving strategic growth and optimizing financial performance across the EMEA region.
