Amit Kumar Sharma has been appointed as the Cluster General Manager for Maharashtra by Fern Hotels & Resorts
Amit began working for the Fern family in 2016, when he was hired as the general manager of Amanora Fern in Pune. In this role, he was in charge of overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, from planning and directing daily activities to monitoring service quality and guaranteeing a first-rate guest experience.
Amit will be supervising the general management and strategic direction of 15 properties in the region—Karad, Karjat, Kolhapur, Lonavala, Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Pune, Satara, Ichalkaranji, and Solapur—in his new position as Cluster General Manager for Maharashtra. To guarantee excellent operational standards, effectiveness, and guest happiness, he would be responsible for offering leadership and direction to each general manager (GM) and their teams. In order to support sustainable growth and profitability across hotels and to ensure compliance with brand standards, quality controls, health, safety, and regulatory requirements, he would also be in charge of creating and implementing strategic plans that are in line with company goals.
During his two decades in the hospitality sector, Amit has held positions at prestigious hotels such as Grand Hyatt, Intercontinental, Le Meridien, and others, showcasing his leadership skills and capacity to manage teams.
