Akash Singh Rathore was born and raised in a family that valued education and hard work. Growing up, he displayed a keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality. Rathore finished his education in the tenth grade at Army School, Amritsar, CBSE, and then went on to Siddharth College, Mumbai, for his final year of school. Then, in April 2011, he graduated with a Bachelor of Hotel Management from the esteemed Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration in Udupi, Manipal (Karnataka), pursuing his passion for hospitality.

Rathore’s professional journey in the hospitality industry spans over 14 years, during which he has held various leadership roles in renowned hotels and resorts around the world.
General Manager,
February 2024–Present: The Aviyaan, Luxe Serenity, Luxury Resort (Lucknow):
Rathore currently oversees all aspects of the luxury resort’s operations as General Manager of The Aviyaan – Luxe Serenity. His duties include supervising every facet of the resort’s operations, guaranteeing outstanding visitor experiences, controlling the resort’s finances, and encouraging an excellent work culture among the personnel. As a leading source of luxury hospitality in Lucknow, The Aviyaan – Luxe Serenity has prospered and grown thanks in part to Rathore’s strategic leadership and operational know-how.

Hilton’s Double Tree in Agra, August 2021–February 2022:
Rathore started out at Hilton as an executive chef before getting promoted to director of food and beverage. He was a key figure in improving the food offerings and leading initiatives such as Ayush by Hilton, a healthy in-room dining concept.

Rathore’s international tour in Dubai demonstrated his skill at creating mouthwatering dishes. Under his direction, Grand Barbeque received high praise from the Dubai food scene and was recognized with awards and nominations.

Rathore’s position in Tanzania served as an example of his capacity to manage large-scale F&B operations with ease and to lead a variety of teams. His tactical insight made Golden Tulip Dar es Salaam a more renowned dining destination.
