Aik Hong Ta has joined Hotel Equities Group, LLC as Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
Aik Hong Tan has been appointed as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), according to a statement made today by Hotel Equities (HE), a hotel owner, operator, and developer. Tan is a Principal at Greenwood Hospitality, which became a part of HE in March 2022 via a strategic partnership. Tan has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality and financial industries. His outstanding leadership and strategic acumen will be very important in his new role as CIO. He will still hold the position of Principal at Greenwood, where his experience has been essential to growing the company’s award-winning hotel portfolio.
In his role as CIO, Tan will oversee our investment strategies and collaborate with Joe Reardon, the Chief Development Officer at HE, to take advantage of fresh chances to improve our portfolio and provide long-term value to our stakeholders. In order to guarantee Hotel Equities’ and its stakeholders’ continuous growth and success, he will be in charge of financial planning, acquisitions, feasibility studies, and strategic investments.
Tan is a member of the Executive Advisory Board for the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management at the University of Denver. Tan received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.
