A 75-year-old lady was allegedly raped by a person who used to work at her fields in Chincholi taluk in Kalaburagi district, police stated on Tuesday.
Chincholi deputy superintendent of police Sangamnath Hiremath stated the accused, who used to work at one of many farms of the lady, had raped her in her home on Sunday.
“On Sunday at round 10 pm, the accused went to the lady’s home the place she lives alone as her husband had died. As lady knew him, she opened the door however the accused allegedly raped her after which fled from scene,” he stated.
He additional stated that the lady sought assist from her neighbours on Monday morning who admitted her to Bidar district hospital and the hospital authorities knowledgeable the police in regards to the matter.
